Krishnapatnam is a major port of Andhra Pradesh located few kilometers from Nellore city. Therefore, many travelers visit this beach to relax and take some beautiful photos of this beach. There is an old lighthouse standing adjacent to the beach, which provides bird’s eye view of the Bay of Bengal from the top of it. The lighthouse is open to tourists from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM every day.

This 12th-century temple is in Nellore at the Southern bank of River Penna. Lord Vishnu is the main deity of this temple. The temple is an architectural marvel with huge pillars. Radha Yatra is an important festival in this temple.

Chandragiri Fort and Museum

Chandragiri fort is a historical fort in Chittoor district. The fort is 1000 years old and is constructed using stone, lime mortar and timber by Yadava Naidu Kings. The government of Andhra Pradesh reconstructed this fort into a historical museum and displayed the collection of sculptures from the 2nd century B.C. War accessories like swords, shields and other weapons used by the Vijayanagara Kingdom are also displayed.
