Arambol Beach is in the Arambol Village, North of Goa. It is a traditional fisherman village. The beach is situated in the border of Maharashtra and it extends to over 16 km. This beach is also known as Harmal beach. It has a beautiful appearance and is a rocky come sandy beach. Plenty of International tourists visit this place for its beauty.
Best Time To Visit Arambol
Winter season in Arambol will be the best time to visit. Temperature ranges from 23 – 29 °C, during this season . And also Christmas and New Year Eve are celebrated in a grand manner in the Arambol beach. It is recommended to avoid this beach during rainy season in Goa.

Querim Beach
This beach is also called Keri Beach. The beach is filled with pine trees which enhances the beauty of the place. It is less crowded and best suited for people who are tired of visiting the populated beaches in Goa. It has few rocky outcrops and walking along the shores with water splashing your feet is a marvelous experience.

Terekhol Fort
It takes nearly 30 minutes to reach the Fort from Arambol beach. The Terekhol Fort was built by Maharaja Khem Sawant Bhonsle. From the Fort, you can see the Terekhol river. The Portuguese used the Fort to defend against Marathas. You can also see a church inside the Fort.

Sweet Water Lake
This is like a heaven for the nature lovers. One has to walk in the North of Arambol beach. It is surrounded by coconut groves and full of greeneries. This is also called as Vagkolam. The water is warm and have your feet dipped in it. There are clay blocks and people rub the clay over their body. This is said to bring magical healing.

Paliem Beach
This is between the Querim beach and Arambol beach in Paliem village which is located in the North of Goa. Paliem Beach is also known as Kalacha beach. To reach this beach, you need to walk through the rocks and there are no ways to travel by road. Paragliding and swimming are popular here.

Ajoba Mandir

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church
This is a very famous place and people visiting Arambol beach will definitely come here. This church was the first church in Pernem Taluka. It was constructed in 1780 and at that time it was dedicated to St John the Baptist. In 1841, this church was reconstructed, the main festival here is the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. It takes place second Sunday of January every year, many devotees visit this church during the festival.

Arambol Mountain
For adventure lovers, Arombol Mountain can be the best destination. It is very much thrilling to climb the mountain. The view from the top is really amazing and it will surely relax you. You can see both the Arambol beach as well as the Keri beach from the top of the mountain.

This is just one km from the Arambol beach. The Arambol Music Academy is located in a beautiful surrounding and view of Arambol from here is wonderful. Music lovers can visit this place. Bhumika Temple
The main deity here is Lord Mahdev (Lord Shiva). Bhumika Temple is located in a beautiful place and Gade festival is popular here. For this festival, many devotees from all parts of the Country visit here.

Dev Ravalnath Temple
This temple is also known as Laxmi Ravalnath temple, Pisso Ravalnath, and Shri Devaki Krishna Ravalnath Temple. The main deity here is Devakikrishna (Lord Krishna with Goddess Devaki). You can also see Goddess Bhumika Devi, Lord Laxmi Ravalnath, Lord Mallinath, Goddess Katyayani, and Lord Dhada Shankar.

How To Reach Arambol Beach
By Train – One can reach Arambol beach by arriving at Margao or Vasco da Gama station. Margoa approximately is at 66 km and Vasco da Gama is 69 km. From the station, you can reach by bus or cab.
By Road – Arambol is located at a distance of 35.1 km from Panjim. Though it has no direct bus facility, this place is well connected with other parts of the Country and major cities. You can take local transport bus or hire a cab to reach the Arambol beach from nearby cities like Panjim, Mapusa and Pernem.
By Flight – Dabolim Airport is the nearest airport to Arambol beach. It is nearly 47 km and it will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. From the airport, you can hire a cab to reach the beach.
Getting Around Arambol
To roam around here, one can rent the Goan local transport service Scooters and motorcycles like Royal Enfields in nominal prices from locals . Or else hire a taxi which is present at every corner of the beach or board local bus to travel around the Arambol.
